A HEAVENLY SONG

There’s a valley before me a hill in the distance

A pathway for my feet I must journey along

There’s a hand that is holding guiding my way

And a desire in my heart to sing a heavenly song

For I am redeemed and my Saviour is leading

Drawing me onwards walking in His love

Just another valley and another hill to climb

Then the Jordan crossing to my home up above

Worship to the King my heart will be bringing

I praise my Lord as He leads me along

But at His throne He will hear my heavenly song

The valley of His heaven to the hill of His throne

Golden pathway of His streets I will journey along

His nail scarred hand will wipe all tears away

And I will join in with singing a heavenly song

Redeemed at the cross where Jesus had been bleeding

Drawing me to Himself with His infinite love

Through the valley of death at the hill of Golgotha

So I could cross Jordan to my home up above
